SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) organised staff viewing of the narrative film “Macau: Back to Common Roots” on 24 and 25 January 2022, enriching their knowledge on Macau’s history and promoting patriotism in the community.

The film appreciation trip was one of the Company’s activities on patriotic education. The 30-minute film gave a vivid narration of Macau’s history over the past centuries, supported by cutting-edge technology via a 900-square metres ultra-HD LED screen. The staff members were all fascinated by its novel illustrations against the background music.

Ms. Angela Leong, Managing Director of SJM and Chairman of the SJM Staff Welfare Consultative Committee, commented, “Macau is a place of diversity and harmony. The narrative film ‘Macau: Back to Common Roots’ gives an account of the transformation of Macau over the past centuries, deepening our staff members’ understanding of the city.
