Organised by the Sports Bureau of the Macau SAR Government, the 2021 Macau Obstacle Racing Challenge was held at Macau East Asian Games Dome and its peripheral areas on 12 December 2021. SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) supported the activity with the participation of three teams comprising colleagues. They are SJM Golden Jubilee, SJM Prosperity and SJM Lotus. All three teams performed well in the races, with SJM Prosperity securing second-runner-up in the competition. Mr. Pun Weng Kun, President of the Sports Bureau of the Macau SAR Government, presented the awards to the winning teams after the competitions.

The competition was divided into two categories: challenging and leisure, aiming to test the physical and mental fitness of the contestants. The 3.5-kilometre challenging race comprised more than 10 outdoor obstacle challenges, which included a 5-metre climb aided with ropes, transportation of 30-kilogram sandbags, passing through an inclined platform at 20-metre height and others.
