(“SJM”), is proud title sponsor of the Macau Design Award 2021, also sponsored by the Cultural Affairs Bureau of the Macao SAR Government and organised by the Macau Designers Association (MDA). The “Macau Design Award 2021 Press Conference” was held at the Grand Lisboa Hotel Grand Ballroom on 14 December 2021 to announce SJM’s support of this important biennial event to cultivate “tourism + arts and culture” and diversity in Macau.

The Chairman of MDA, Mr. Chao Sio Leong, presented an illustrious catalogue of previous awardees as a token of appreciation to Ms. Angela Leong, Managing Director of SJM, at the press conference; where an overview of Macau Design Award 2021 was given to attendees by Mr. Hong Ka Lok, the Chairman of the Preparatory Committee. MDA introduced the award categories, judging panel, selection criteria, the newly added award “SJM New Talents Award” and its partnership with SJM.

The esteemed panel of judges for the Macau Design Award 2021 has completed its review of all Macau Design Award submissions and the winning works of art will be announced in January 2022 at an awards ceremony to be held at the Grand Pavilion of Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau.
