Dedicated to nurturing local talents, SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) established the SJM Scholarship programme for students of the Macao Institute for Tourism Studies (“IFTM”) in 2019. Ten students are selected, who are each awarded MOP10,000 per year. The scholarship aims to nurture talents for Macau’s tourism, entertainment and leisure industry, contributing to Macau’s development into a “world centre of tourism and leisure”.

The IFTM Scholarship and Fellowship Presentation Ceremony 2021 was held on 19 November 2021. Dr. Rui Cunha, Secretary-General of SJM, presented the scholarships to ten awardees on behalf of the company.
