It reflects the spirit and the wisdom of the nation. ‘Develop your virtue before you practise martial arts’ is the tradition of wushu. As influenced by traditional cultural values such as humanity and righteousness, rites and music, the virtue of wushu illustrates the thinking of ‘patriotism, trustworthiness, righteous, and courteous’. Through the practice of wushu, the Chinese nation demonstrates the dedication for self-improvement.” He continued, “As wushu is easily accepted by audiences from overseas, we aim to promote the spirit of cohesion and creativity, and tell the world China’s stories well.”
At the opening ceremony, Dr. Ambrose So, on behalf of Macau Chinese National Traditional Sports Association, presented a souvenir to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of SJM Ms. Daisy Ho in appreciation of SJM’s continuous support to the traditional Chinese wushu and to the promotion of patriotism.
