Committed to giving back to the community, SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) hosted a blood drive for its employees in July 2021. Under the coordination of the SJM Staff Welfare Consultative Committee (“SWCC”), around 60 staff members volunteered for blood donation at Macau Health Bureau’s blood donation centre.

The participating members were happy to be able to save lives through blood donation. Regular blood donation would also be beneficial to their own health, in particular in mitigating the risk of cardiovascular disease.

Ms. Angela Leong, Managing Director of SJM and Chairman of the SJM Staff Welfare Consultative Committee, encouraged the members to become blood donors as this is a great way to give back to society and can help save multiple lives.
