In celebration of the 100^th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC), SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) arranged a live-broadcast of the programme - The 100^th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China for its staff members on 1 July 2021. The activity was coordinated by the SJM Staff Welfare Consultative Committee.

Over 1,000 staff members watched the ceremony live-broadcasted at Grand Lisboa’s Grand Ballroom, as well as at SJM’s staff resting areas and staff canteens, enabling the team members to learn about the glorious development of the CPC over the century.

Ms. Angela Leong, SJM’s Managing Director and Chairman of the Staff Welfare Consultative Committee, said that with decades of hard work, the Chinese nation has achieved a tremendous transformation – it has stood up, grown rich and become strong, laying a solid foundation for the principle of “one country, two systems” in Macau and for the city’s prosperity and stability. She hoped that staff members will bear in mind CPC’s original aspiration and embrace the brilliant prospects of rejuvenation with the nation. She further urged the members to promote the spirit of “Love the Motherland, Love Macau” and join forces with the company in contributing to society.
